A delicate perfumed nose with spice and floral notes around some dark fruit.  Light-bodied with plenty of silky tannins to ensure very good aging potential.  Acids in finish and alcohol percentage make for food-friendliness.  The patient collector would be rewarded with a greater complexity and fuller body in a few years.  With some air, some forest floor emerges on the nose.

Red fruits; strawberries and raspberries with accents of cedar and dried herbs. Good entry, balance and texture. Excellent acid to fruit balance, and a lengthy finish.
Dijon 115 and 777 clones. Aged 9 months in 55% neutral French oak, 45% new French oak barrels.

Our third single barrel bottling!  100%  943 Clone.  

Destemmed into an open top fermenter and fermented on skins for seven days using native yeast and no temperature control. It was lightly pressed into a Three Hundred and Fifty liter neutral oak barrel, where it aged for Nine months until racked to tank for bottling. There was absolutely nothing added or taken away from this wine. Unfined and unfiltered.

Just 29 cases produced of this Single Barrel Bottling.

2019 Majestic White Oak Reserve has beautiful, delicate earth tones, including black truffle, damp forest, juicy wild cherry, red current, and black raspberry.

Twenty percent of whole clusters were fermented in open-top containers using native yeast fermentation. Pressed after fifteen days on skins and put to fifteen percent new French oak for 18 months.

In April of 2020, we chose two of our favorite barrels of Pinot Noir from the 2019 Vintage. One barrel of Pommard and one barrel of clone 777 were blended and then put back to barrel as identical two-barrel blends. 

One of the barrels was left to age in the barrel room as normal. The other was taken into the middle of our estate vineyard, where we had dug a six-foot deep hole directly into the same soil that the grapes were grown. 

2019 Pommard/ / 777  is the sister wine to The 2019 Time Capsule. Aged in the barrel room for 1 year. 

This beautiful wine is an exquisite choice to share with your friends and family. The Pommard and 777 clones combine to create a silky texture with red raspberries, forest floor, and appealing floral aromas.

My Parents and I chose two of our favorite barrels of Pinot Noir from the 2019 Vintage. One barrel of Pommard and one of Clone 777 were blended and then put back to barrel as identical two-barrel blends. 

One of the barrels was left to age in the barrel room as standard. The other was taken into the middle of our estate vineyard, where we had dug a six-foot deep hole directly into the same soil where the grapes were grown. We lowered the barrel down into the hole and then carefully filled the hole and barrel back in with vineyard soil. The barrel remained underground and in direct contact with the soil for one year. We dug up the barrel on April 22nd, 2021, and drove it back to the winery. After letting the barrel settle overnight, it was moved directly from the barrel into the bottle.
